Why Work With Me?

As a qualified and trained chef with a certificate in hormone health from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, I've developed hundreds of recipes and SEO-rich food blogs for independent food bloggers and food retailers around the world.

I also have a background in food marketing, having worked as a brand manager for Hellmann's, Knorr Foods, and Robertsons at Unilever in the Unilever Food Solutions department for 4 years. Here's an example of some of the work I was involved with there.

What Do I Offer?

These are the basic services I offer. Reach out to me if you're interested in discussing any of them.

Food Writing

This keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO for food blog or article writing. I currently have a group of 12 regular clients for whom I write on a weekly and monthly basis.

I'm happy to follow a client's format or create one for them. I have 3 years of experience in writing for successful food blogs. Note that I work as a ghostwriter for these clients and cannot disclose who they are.

Recipe Development and Testing

I can create fully tested recipes (for any audience globally) based on a brief. Note I am mostly based in South Africa and not all food products are brands are available here.

Food Photography

I currently take all my images and shoot for some of my clients. I really love this part of my work. I am by no means a professional photographer - my images and skills are intermediate, as are my editing skills.

For most clients, I deliver 4-6 hero shots, depending on how they want to use them and process shots for the recipe as well. 1 shot per recipe step.

I can work with both bright and white as an aesthetic or cozy and moody like this Cheese Souffle Recipe I created here for my client, Le Gourmet Central.

I'm Casey, a cordon bleu chef with a certificate in hormone health, a food writer, and a busy mom in my 40s.
